A few days ago, Yuchai’s new high-power power generation YC16VTD diesel engine equipped with a 1600kW generator set has completed various tests and officially delivered to customers in South Asia, which will be used as a power source for local urban engineering construction.

Yuchai’s YC16VTD diesel engine is a 16-cylinder engine designed and developed on the YC12VTD and YC6TD mature model platforms. It is a domestic 1500kW-class non-road National IV engine and fills the gap in Yuchai’s 40L-80L displacement power generation. This model adopts the current electronically controlled high-pressure common rail technology and has a compact and beautiful appearance. Compared with competing products, YC16VTD has the advantages of higher power density, stronger sudden addition capability, and better fuel economy, while meeting the T3 and T4 emission requirements.

YC16VTD engine is mainly equipped with 1350-1650kW generator set, which is suitable for common and backup power sources such as data center, oil drilling, mining machinery and so on.

In recent years, the outstanding performance of Yuchai Marine Electric's products has been praised by customers at home and abroad. From January to July this year, Yuchai Marine Electric's sales and the sales of high-power marine electric power over 16 liters under the circumstance of the overall decline in the industry market The year-on-year growth has doubled, and the advantage of a better comprehensive market share has been further expanded. Among them, overseas sales increased by 138% year-on-year, and were Sold to many countries in the Middle East.
